Oh, man. Seeing your photos gave me flashbacks. My parents were German, but they moved to the United States when they were expecting me. I’ve been to Germany three times, the last time in 1969. Your pictures remind me of Bavaria and Allgau. The fountain with the shops behind remind me of Oberstaufen.

I can’t spell the name of the town we were in, but it was a small town right outside of Munich. I loved visiting so much!

Germany is one of those places I have wanted to visit for a long time. I think I’ll get there sooner rather than later at this point, as the hubby loves beer and it’s definitely a place where beer can be had!

Yes! And it’s a lot of good beer for a very cheap price! You have to try one of their pretzels too. I’ve had them here and they claim to be German pretzels buts they don’t even compare!

These are great pictures. I’ve been to about 10 different cities in Germany but never really had the chance to get out in the countryside like you did.

Thanks!! The countryside is really beautiful! I loved seeing all the animals out in the grass and mountainsides. Lots of cows and sheep and goats. 🙂
