I have shared a few pictures of my two cats, Garfield and Elphaba, and quite honestly I’m surprised it hasn’t been more. My phone has over a thousand pictures and 95% of them are animals. This is a special occasion though, and one I could not resist to share with the world.
I bought Elphaba a cat leash!
She is always trying to sneak outside, but our cats are indoor only and I don’t really believe in her capabilities to survive in the outside world (sorry Elf!). Of course I have a huge soft spot for my furry friends so I try to make them happy however I can. Here are some pictures from our adventures!
Garfield would not go near the leash and I think he was offended I even suggested it. Instead he opted to glare angrily from the window as Elphaba explored the great outdoors.
Ohhh! They’re beautiful! What a luxurious ginger Garfield is, and Elphaba is so pretty! Charlie is harness trained, but the others collapse under the weight of the harness and refuse to move…: )

Thanks😊 Yea, Elf walks a little funny at first, she like belly crawls almost, but then once she’s out and about it’s like she doesn’t even notice the harness!

They are funny! My girls do that when I put the flea/worming liquid on the back of their necks, like the drop of liquid is just SO heavy…

They are too funny! The second the harness touched Garfield he bolted and now if I even just let him sniff it he runs away.

Charlie will sit beautifully to have her harness put on…the others do pretty much the same as your Garfield and run!

I love them!! Our cats would NEVER go for a leash – although Kevin keeps wanting to try. I fear it would be more cat-dragging than cat-walking…

Yea it’s more like sporadic bursts of movement and then she chews on something green and then sprints to the next green thing to be chewed. But she loves it!!

He followed her with his eyes the whole time! Usually he’s so cute and fluffy…I guess envy is unbecoming!

Cute cats make me happy ^.^
For some reason, it never occurred to me that cats could have leashes too. I have never seen a cat being walked nor heard someone say “I walked the cat yesterday”…

Yea it’s relatively new to me too! My friend got one for her cat so I was inspired to see how mine would do.

Elf is my type of cat, she seems very adventurous ^.^
I think Garfield would be more happy as a sentinel 🐏

He is lazy but super smart. She is curious and adventurous, but not too smart…. They make a good pair 😋

Awwwwww you’re kitties are so cute and I love their names! The other day I saw a lady with an animal stroller and she had her tiny dog and cat inside. Maybe you’ll get one of those next! 😛

Hahaha😂 I’m not sure I’m quite at that level…yet, but that is a hilarious image in my head!

Cute! I bought leashes for my cats a few years ago but they did not like the harnesses at all.

Serena – the results of my June blog experiment are up on my blog; you’re there, check it out!

Hi Jacob, that’s pretty cool how you mapped it all out. I found it interesting how the different generations ended up centering around mostly one topic and fitting that mine was all over the place because I definitely follow a huge variety of blogs! It was a cool experiment, thanks for including me!

Elphaba is an awesome cat name!
And this reminds me that I have to break out our cat leash. Schooner had somehow managed to get it off of its hook and on the ground while we were away (somehow not disturbing the many Choppy leashes on the hook). It is probably a sign that he wants me to take him outside. Or, at the very least, I am going to read it that way.
